Atom LL, U11 Atom (2012,2013), 2012-2013 (Lambton Shores Minor Hockey)

The Atom LL entered two tournaments in the mid season. Early in December, the Atomstravelled to Staynor. Predators won the first game on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over Barrie. Goals were scored by Carmen Kewageshig (16) and Alicia Kewageshig (15). The scond game of the day was cklose and resulted in a 1-0 loss to Lefoy.

Atom LL's next challenge: Strathroy Red. Once again the Preds delivered an exciting game. Strathroy scored first at 8:27 of the first, but the Predators fought back and #11, Hunter Cable, tied it up at 4:09 of the first. Strathroy closed out the scoring in the first with one more goal, and we started the second down 1.

Fired up by last wek-ends wins, the Atom LL Preds were ready for their next challenge: Mt. Brydges Blue. End to end action kept fans on their toes all game long. Early on in the game Hunter Cable (#11) put one in  the Mt. Brydges net to take an early lead. Mt. Brydges answered back with a goal of their own. Ferocious activity by both teams couldn't decide a winner and this match was a draw, 1-1.

Guess one win wasn't enough, but it took the Atoms untill the second to get on the board against Strathroy Blue. Some teams would get discouraged if they end the first period losing 3-0, but not our Atom LL.... they were just getting started.

The first five games, the Atoms were just warming up! Atom LL stormed into East Lambton hungry for a win!
