Atom & Peewee Rostered Select Coaches Needed
Submitted By John Van Gorp on Monday, November 25, 2019
It was decided at our Board Meeting in September that we would be having Rostered Select teams in our Atom & Peewee divisions.

A Rostered Select team is made up of players that are currently rostered to a Local League team.  This team is a separate roster that is made up of the top players in Local League and would allow these players to play a higher level of hockey.  It doesn't effect the players current Local League team and still allows for these players to AP to other teams as before.  These Rostered Select teams would be allowed to have some practices, play some exhibition games and a tournament against other Rostered Select teams or AE teams.  All associated costs (ie ice fees, Refs, etc) for these teams would need to be covered by the participants.  This will be a good way for the organization to determine if we have a deep enough talent pool to compete against AE teams going forward.

We are looking for a Head Coach for both these teams.  Candidates do not need to be a current Head Coach.  They do have to have all the qualification necessary to Head Coach a team under OMHA rules.

If interested, please email me your name and contact information and it will be passed on to the Coaching Committee for review.  Any questions, regarding this process or Coaching/Team expectations can be brought to the Coaching Committee at your interview.  All applications should be submitted to me by December 1st, 2019
