Point Edward a BIG test for Novice Black
Novice Black took the road for a 4:00pm game against the Point Edward Blackhawks. The home team came out pumped but Novice Black coming off a heart breaker of a loss to Lucan earlier in the week was ready for this one, end to end action in the first resulted in a scoreless period.
The second would start the same way with neither one of the teams giving an inch, but then halfway through the period Point Edward would strike twice for a 2-0 lead after 2 periods. This would not deter the young preds squad though, with Point Edward leading 3-0 in the 3rd Curtis (The Rocket) Boere, would take a pass from Kaylan Dinel and drive the net hard and after 2 cracks at the rebound, would finally get one past the Blackhawks goalie. Point Edward would add 1 more late for a 4-1 final, but score would not accurately reflect the game as this one would of easily went either way.
A big shout out to the whole Novice Black team as Point Edward is one of the best teams in our league and these Preds gave them all they could handle.
