2 Hard Fought Games
Well it was a hard fought 2 games with excellent effort from every player. Our weekend started on Thursday with a trip to Point Edward to take on the Blackhawks in the ultimate rubber match. it was nonstop action from the opening faceoff with chances at both ends. After falling behind by 3, our Preds buckled down and turned it on and took control of the game, only to be stopped by the dreaded curfew. Final score Blackhawks 5, Preds 4. Goals by Taylor, Jace, Evan, Ashton. Back in Thedford on Sunday, our Preds were looking for another strong outing, against the East Lambton Black. Once again it was end to end action with shot after shot, but in the end it was East Lambton who came out on top. Final score East Lambton 5, Preds 1. Goal by Evan.
