What a Great Season!!!!
Submitted By Jodie Poland on Monday, March 11, 2013
What a great regular season it was for the Novice Black, even though the final series didn’t end up the way we had hoped.  Every player on our bench played their heart out for us this year which makes every game fun and exciting to watch.  After today’s game our dressing room was quiet, but still positive, and I think Benny summed it up best when he said, “At least we made it to the finals.”

The group we have this year is an incredible group of hard working, and eager players who love to play and are easy to coach.  Our offence has come a long way since game one, with each line producing and chipping in.  The defence has become a wall at the blue line and are making smart, and solid plays to make sure the puck is cleared from our zone or preventing an opponent from making a shot.  Liam has stood on his head in net on more than one occasion, and held us in game after game, giving us the opportunity to win.  I think I can speak on behalf of the coaching staff, and say thanks to all the players of Novice Black for making this a fun and exciting year.
