Well it was a tough but fun weekend of hockey for our Novice Black team, starting Saturday with a rematch against the Lambeth Lancers. I am not sure what they feed the kids in Lambeth, but those kids are huge. Liam stood tall and held his ground while his team mates battled hard in front of him. Final Score Lambeth 10, Preds 0.
Sunday brought Strathroy Grey to Thedford for an early
afternoon game. We started strong and had lots of shots and chances, but
could not get one past their goalie till the 2nd period. Once
again Liam was tough to beat and kept the game close. Final score. Preds
2, Strathroy 9. Goals scored by Jace, and Brent.
