Wallaceburg came to town on Sunday.  The Preds were as short staffed as you would want a Midget team to be.  With 9 skaters, a plan was devised to conserve energy, put up a stingy defense, and take advantage of turnovers.  The plan was executed to perfection, along with some timely goaltending, as the the score was 1-0 for Wallaceburg after 2 periods.  

We have two games this weekend versus Petrolia and Mt. Brydges.  A practice next Tuesday. Then we play in Exeter for Regional Silver Stick November 25-27th.  Keep quality game preparation techniques considering how much hockey the team will be playing over the next 10 days.  Proper rest, quality food choices, sufficient hydration and mental preparation will be key to making these 2 weekends successful.  Playing at high tempo, making quality hockey IQ decisions, and using the game systems that have been practiced will be enhanced with good game preparation.  To play your best, you have to be ...

We have received an additional practice time on Sunday November 13th at 11am in place of the Juveniles.  We have a game on Sunday evening.  With limited practice times, this is an opportunity to go over positional and strategic play.  The practice will be light in terms of the skating intensity and physical exertion.  Please advise if you are unable to attend.
