Tyke 1 Red Predators have double header against Ilderton
This weekend was good practice for our upcoming tournaments in Thedford and Parkhill as the kids played a double header on Saturday against Ilderton Jets Gold at 10am and Red at noon. And the great news is, it didn't seem to affect their energy and enthusiasm!
The kids have really gelled together in the past few games and seemed to have increased their enthusiasm on the ice during games. They are working very well together, learning their positions and trying harder. Very impressive!
We had 2 returning goalies giving it another shot this weekend. In our first game we had Ava and in the second game we had Adam. Both did incredible jobs in-between the pipes as they took on many shots against them. Great going goalies!!
Our defensive lines sure helped keep the puck out of our end which was lead by Owen (who had a break away and almost got a goal!) and Lily along with their teammates.
We had many goals during these 2 games. Jack got 8! Connor 4, Garrett 2 and Nash 1.
Again the kids must be proud of themselves. The scores were all close and moved quite fast. I know the fans really enjoy these games. Keep it up Predators!
