Faster than the Speeding Bullets
The Lambton Shores Predators Novice Rep team took on the Southwest Bullets Friday night at the Legacy Arena. The Preds came out quickly again and got a first minute goal from Ryan " The Bull" Vaughan assisted by Ryan "Richie" Richardson. Southwest answered back midway through the first but Adam "Tich" Tichenoff replied a couple minutes later. Logan "The Hammer" Mackenzie had the assist and the Preds had a 2-1 lead going into the 2nd.
The second frame saw the two teams exchange goals in a sloppy period. The same two players combined on the Preds marker with Tich scoring from The Hammer.
The 3rd period saw the Preds wake up and score 5 goals to put the game out of reach. Scoring for the Preds was Carson "Shifty" Peters with 2, Richie, The Hammer and Ben "Crazy Legs" George. Assists went to Hayley "Comet" Millar, Bryce" Laker Stanlake, Richie, Ty "T-Bone" Rannie and The Hammer with his forth point of the night!
Final score 8-4 for the Preds. The Hard Hat went to Crazy Legs George for his tenacious play!
This was the final game for our Charity donation from the team and our coaches paying $2 for every goal scored. Final total for 2 games was 14 goals so each coach had to put in $28...Ouch! total money raised was $220 for the Tooinies For Toys charity. Way to go Guys!!
