Welcome to the Instructional Hockey Program
Hello, my name is Adam Willemse and I’ll be helping organize the instructional hockey program with Lambton Shores this year. I look forward to seeing all of our kids on the ice this year.

Here’s the important things you need to know:
Practice Times Instructional Hockey begins on Thursday, September 24 at 5pm in Thedford. The practice schedule is as follows:
Thursday 5pm in Thedford
Friday 5:15 in Forest
Sunday 12:30 in Forest
On-Ice helpers I’m looking to get a list of those of you interested in helping with our skaters on the ice. The more the better with this age group. Please email me if you would like to help out, so we can get organized and I have an idea of who and how many helpers on the ice we have each night.

Volunteer Opportunities For all the new parents, just to give you a heads up about some volunteer opportunities coming up shortly so you can try and get those pesky volunteer cheques ripped up. The association has a sign up list in the foyer of the Forest arena to volunteer at the Forest Fall Fair (selling pizza I believe). The Fair is the weekend of September 25-27. Sign up is limited so get in if you can to get at least one cheque out of the way.  The Lambton Shores Minor Hockey Association is also holding a fundraising Golf tournament at Widder on September 26. Henry Peters is running this tournament and is looking for volunteers. Contact Henry Peters ([email protected])is you would like to volunteer OR if you’d like to buy tickets to play and support him in this fundraiser for the Association. More information will be posted on the Association Website soon.

I would like to meet shortly with all the parents following the first skate on Thursday September 24 to firstly introduce myself and your Development Committee rep, the wonderful Peggy Zavitz. I would like to briefly discuss what will be going on with our Tyke and Mite teams for the year. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to send me a quick email. Hope everyone is looking forward to hitting the ice.
