Bantam Rep, 2015-2016 (Lambton Shores Minor Hockey)

The Bantam Rep 2015-16 Season is now complete. This coach began the season with a number of modest goals for our group ... Goals against below 2.5, goals for approaching 3.0, total goals scored between 140 and 150, 20 wins and an overall .500 record ! 

Fifty (50) goals in 55 games, playing defence this year, for the Bantam Reps! A remarkable milestone! Congratulations Jax on behalf of the entire team. Coach Bob

The Bantam Reps opened their second round of the OMHA playoffs with a gritty 3-2 overtime victory in Belmont Friday nite. With Matt, Dan and Aaron all out of the line-up the boys had to dig deep to overcome a short bench. Jax scored his second of the night in O/T to secure the well earned victory. Tyler was rock solid between the pipes. A great effort by all but there is much more hard work ahead. Coach Bob  

Five months ago we made it our goal to improve steadily as a team and to be playing well enough by International Silverstick to qualify for semi-final Sunday at home. The commitment shown by each of my players has been Exceptional! The outcome ... Impressive! We won all three round robin games, outscoring opponents by a wide 15-3 margin. In the knock out semi we came so close to victory ... we could taste it, but ultimately came up a little short with a 3-2 loss to a team sporting an unbeaten regular season record. My players truly owned the moment and Im proud of them all. Our sincere thanks ...

The Bantam Rep Predators swept Dresden, in three games, to win the first round of their OMHA playdowns.  The Predators outscored the Jr Kings 14 to 2 during the three game series while Tyler Richardson posted a sparkling .67 goals against average. Congratulations to the boys for their well deserved victory.  There is still much work to do ... It begins at practice on Sunday ... See everyone there ... Coach Bob
