WEEKEND SWEEP PUT PREDS BACK IN THE HUNT
It had been a awhile since Atom Rep has a played a game... almost 2 weeks to be exact!!

Sitting mid pack in the Shamrock division if the Preds look to make a late season push it has to start now.  With Shamrock changing their scheduling to be done by Christmas that gives the Atom Rep's another month to climb to the top of the standings.

Saturday Lambton Shores traveled to Port Stanley to duel the Jr. Sailors.  After a rough start the Preds filled the net with 8 goals on way to a strong 8-3 victory.

Sunday had the Belmont Rangers visiting Forest for what could be a potential OMHA matchup. Belmont got on the score board first but our Preds scored 4 unanswered goals to make it a 4-1 lead.  Belmont would add a late goal to make 4-2, but that's as close as they would get as the Lambton Shores tough team defense shut down Belmont only allowing them 6 shots on net.

With the 4 points the Preds find themselves in 4th place, only one point out of third.  and having defeated 2nd place Ilderton and 3rd place Belmont Head Coach Shawn Dickey feels the team is confident they can skate with anyone in the league.

Next week Lambton Shores travels to Belmont for a rematch and battle for 3rd place.
