Progress & Development - Coaches Upbeat!
Players and Parents.
We have come into some tough competition the past few games. Game observations have revealed that the baseline skills of this group show a good foundation from which to build. We are going to encourage, and support the players to keep a positive outlook on their individual progress and more importantly as a team.
The roster situation has overshadowed the early part of the season, but we are now focused on hockey.
It is clear that 50 minutes of practice a week is inadequate to make appreciable gains. We are exploring extra practice times in consultation with the Association. We have consulted dryland training options (with a licensed instructor as per Board Regulations) and will shore up details this week. Stay tuned and stay upbeat Players!!
