The Lambton Shores Predators PeeWee LL team started the season by using the first 3 games as time to set the team up. This gave the coaching staff the opportunity to set up each forward line and to see how well they played with each other. They partnered the defence and gave Cameron the opportunity to limber up with lots of rubber coming his way.

When the team rolled into Ilderton on Saturday Oct. 20, they got off to a slow start, but once Payton Armitage (#4) got the goal, assisted by Nick Mansfield (#10) and Cole Walker (#18), that just seemed to light a spark under them.   It was end to end action back and forth.  It turned out to be a very fast paced game.  This certainly set the stage for the game with Strathroy the next day. One parent told Greg, "give this team 4 games under their belts and you will see them coming out on top".  Well that was wrong, it only took 3 games. On Sunday Oct 21 it took until near the end of the first period (2:08) for Lambton Shores to score their first goal in the game.  Wes got a hold of the puck in our end and took all the way to the other end and planting it in the top left corner of the net.  Then with only 9 seconds left of the first period C-Bass passed to Ryan who was just over the red line standing all by himself.  He took it the rest of the way and placing the puck where it counts scoring our 2nd goal. Strathroy came back in the 2nd period and scored their only goal. To clinch the game, in the 3rd period at the 6 minute mark, Wes again took the puck down the ice and shot the puck bouncing off the goalie toward Ryan, who picked up the rebound and scored our third goal.  This team is really shaping up to be a team to reckoned with.  Even the ref commented on how well the team looked!  Forward lines were clicking, nice passing by all the team, defence was sharp and the goalie even sharper.  You could see the bench staff with grins on their faces after that game.  Great game Preds!
