Face Off For Mental Health awareness weekend will be happening on Nov. 23/24th at the Shores Arena in Forest.
FOFMH is a partnership between St. Clair Child Youth Services and local hockey associations to raise the profile of mental health issues for children and youth.
LSMHA coaches will be provided with FOFMH packages soon. Awareness packages will include; details on the event, SWAG for our players, and age-appropriate scripts to help coaches chat with their players about what FOFMH means.
During the FOFMH weekend at the Shores Arena, mental health information will be available for players, coaches, and parents. Home teams will show their support with their sticks taped green demonstrating their support for mental health and sending a message that the rink is a safe place to talk.
