Interviews for the upcoming season will be commencing shortly.

If you were planning on applying for a coach position for the upcoming season you need to submit your application now.  If you have thought of applying but were hesitant because
  1. I Don't have the time
It is not as time consuming as you think.  Remember you have bench staff to help.  Delegate tasks.
  2. Don't know where to start.
The OMHA website offers many 1 day clinics on coaching.  Many websites offer practice plans for all divisions.  We have a Player Development Committee to help you along the way.
  3. I don't want to deal with crazy parents.
Each division will have a Player Development Committee member assigned to assist you with issues that you are unable to resolve.
  4. I don't think I can handle the job.
Many resources are available.  Coach clinics, Player Development Committee, internet and other coaches in the organization.  Scott Jones (TPH) is also available if you need some advice on drills for practice.
  5. Don't know how to apply.
Coach's application can be found on the website under forms.  You can mail it to the address on the form or scan and email it to Head Coach Mike Dougan at [email protected]
We need good coaches.
