Removal of Body Checking from Local League
At the OMHA Board of Directors Meeting on February 22, 2015, a motion was approved effective the 2015-2016 season, body checking would be removed from all OMHA recreational programming.

This is a decision that was made at the OMHA level and not by LSMHA or LMLL.

This is a two year pilot program where checking will be removed from ALL Local League divisions, including Bantam and Midget Divisions. See below for the complete Memorandum issued by OMHA.
