Southwest Roadshow
The Atoms went back to the road for their first meeting of an old (and New) rival. The Southwest Bullets, (formerly Glencoe & Bothwell) hosted the Preds. The coaches described the game as one dominated by speed and passing. The offensive highlight was Capt. Bright with the hat trick followed by a Leyten helper. The 4-2 win brings the club to within 2 games of .500 and a noticeable compete level emerging from all players. As each player builds their skill level, the tactical team play is becoming more sophisticated. The committment of the players and their approach to the game has been vital to the growth of the hockey club. Congrats Atoms, and continue to strive for improvement.
