Sarnia AA Success
The Atom A's finished the weekend with a road game in Sarnia. The Predator feet were moving at the tempo needed to play teams at this level. More importantly the puck was moving among many sticks. Although the Sting were playing at their own hive, it was the Predators who swarmed in to feast. D to D passing, cycling low and strong outlet passes were just some of the positive things the coaching staff witnessed today.
Will R earned the shutout, and Tyler R. joined the forwards for a guest appearance. Nic G blasted a bullet to open the scoring and they never looked back. Decaluwe (2), Getty, Leyten, Schoonjans, & Tichenoff spreadout the scoring in a 7-0 game. Greg B. made a guest appearance on the blue line. Several players were adjusted toward the end of the game to get a taste of a new position. Caitlin G. won her first draw. Cornelious, Harper, Waters shored up the back end to secure the shut out. Santavy, Smith and Fisher were prowling all afternoon.
Busy week coming. Rest and nutrition are in the hands of parents.
