Howick Tournament Champs
What a proud weekend for us coaches and parents to watch such great hockey from this team. We started off Saturday filling the net in a 8-0 victory, which put us up against a strong Goderich team that had just come off a 10- win of their own. We played a solid game with great team work and passing that led us to a 6-2 win to put us in the A finals. We came out flying in the finals, scoring a couple quick goals. We let up a bit in the second, but Seth kept us in the game with some great saves. We continued to pass the puck well in the third and found the back of the net a few more times to ease the tension. We came away with a 7-0 win in the end! The kids played amazing all weekend and seem to be coming together at the right time of the season. The kids should be proud of the way they played. January is a busy month with OMHA playoffs starting and Silverstick in 2 weeks. Hopefully we can continue to improve and keep up the success we've been having.
