Peewee Reps Win OMHA Title!!
The Peewee Rep team finished their run to an OMHA Championship in style on Sunday with a 5-0 win over the Sturgeon Lake Thunder. They finished the series with two straight shutouts winning 3-0 on Saturday.
The Preds won 5-2 in the series opener in Fenelon Falls last weekend and lost the second game 4-3 on a last second goal.

The split on the weekend enabled the Preds to win it at home this weekend. The Thunder had only lost 3 times this year in regular season and tournament play and had won the International Silver Stick earlier this year. They only lost once in the playdowns before meeting the Preds.

The Preds had a tough road to the finals as the had a tight series with North Middlesex, Belmont and Port Dover after earning a bye in the first round based on their great regular season. They beat North Middlesex and Port Dover in 3 games each but all games were pretty close. Belmont proved to be a tough test, pushing the Preds to 5 games, but the Preds prevailed.

The Preds won with outstanding goaltending, stingy defence, and timely scoring that led them to their #redhats.

Congrats to the players and coaches on a great season!!!
