Atom Rep Win Shamrock A Championship!!
The Lambton Shores Predators Atom Rep team won the Shamrock A Division championship with a 6-2 win over the Petrolia Oilers. The score was not indicative of how close the game was as the Preds scored 3 goals late in the game to open up what was a very close game.
The Preds got to the Finals by winning once and tying 3 games, including 2 with Petrolia,  in the Round Robin Semi finals.

The Oilers won game 1 of the finals 6-2 in a game that Petrolia definitely wanted it more than the Preds did. The Preds bounced back with 3 straight victories by scores of 5-1, 6-3 and 6-2. The players figured out after game 1 that they would have to earn the wins and through hard work and determination they did it.
The Preds goaltender, Ty Wright, played unbelievable in the last 3 games to earn the wins. Ty had a solid defensive core in front of him with Matt McDonald, Bryce Stanlake, Brett Dickey, Eric Burget and Haley Millar playing their best hockey of the season. The forward group of Tyler Stanton, Evan Morningstar, Ryan Richardson, Ryan Vaughan, Austin Harper, Cory Stokley and Ty Rannie worked like a well oiled machine with great forechecking pressure, intense backchecking and timely scoring.

A great team effort and a well earned victory by an awesome team that was a pleasure to coach. Each and every one of you deserves credit for the success this team enjoyed this season and I wish you all the very best in your future hockey seasons!!
