5 Game Undefeated Streak
Submitted By Darren Tichenoff on Wed 12 12, 12
The Atoms took care of the Ridgetown Rebels last Friday with a convincing 8-3 victory.  Will M got the 'W' in the pipes as the scoring got spread around again making this club versatile.  The coaches, 'highlight of the night' was the opening goal. The puck went from our own icing line, to the winger on the hash marks, to the centre breaking up the middle and into the net in about 10 seconds.  It was textbook execution that has been in the development stages since the player assessment process in September.

The Atoms will face 5 more opponents to complete their league play before OMHA playdowns. Three opponents are in 1st or 2nd place of their division and one team has been on a 7 game winning streak. These final games will be a good gauge of how the Atoms have developed and how they stack up against the leagues better clubs.
