Below you will find information pertaining to COVID-19 and visiting Lambton Shores Arenas.

Entering and Exiting the Arena
Groups will enter through the main facility entrance and shall arrive no more than 30 minutes before their scheduled ice time
When exiting the facility, spectators:
SHORES ARENA FOREST - Ice participants will exit through the “Exit Doors” at the end of the dressing room hallway within 30 minutes of leaving the ice. The exit doors will be clearly marked.
LEGACY ARENA THEDFORD - All patrons may exit through the main doors.  The lobby will be divided to allow proper physical distancing.  

Proof of Full Vaccination
Any spectator, aged 12 and over, will need to provide proof of full vaccination (or exemption) to enter the arenas.
At this time (prior to Oct. 31st), coaching staff members will NOT be required to show proof of vaccination and will just have to provide ID.  ***visiting teams should provide a list of their bench staff to Lambton Shores coach prior to the game. 


Reporting of COVID-19
If a participant experiences symptoms of COVID-19 while at the facility, they must proceed as follows: 1) Leave the facility and proceed to self-isolate 2) Perform the Ontario COVID-19 self assessment 3) Follow instructions that are given 4) If a participant tests positive for COVID-19 then the municipal staff may be contacted by Lambton Public Health

Dressing Room Capacity
SHORES ARENA FOREST - maximum of 14 players per room.
LEGACY ARENA THEDFORD - maximum of 14 players per room.
-Dressing room patrons must be physically distanced by 2m. **Masks are required in dressing rooms. 

-Parents (at the discretion of the Association) may enter the dressing rooms temporarily to tie skates but must maintain 2m distance from members who are not from their household.

Number of On-Ice Participants Allowed
SHORES ARENA FOREST - 40 players plus coaches, referees, timekeepers
LEGACY ARENA THEDFORD - 40 players plus coaches, referees, timekeepers
***Masks are not required for on-ice participants. Coaches must wear masks when coaching from the bench.


Number of Spectators Allowed
SHORES ARENA FOREST -the capacity for spectators in the stands is 175 people
LEGACY ARENA THEDFORD - the capacity for spectators in the stands is 100 people 
Spectators must:
- Be physically distanced by 2m. **Wear masks. Masks may be TEMPORARILY removed to eat or drink.
- Spectators may temporarily access the dressing room hall to tie/untie skates of younger participants and must maintain a 2m distance from others.

Other Notes
-Bags, individual food and beverages are permitted. No shared food (e.g., potlucks, team snacks, etc.).
-Warmups and dry land training are not permitted inside the facility (unless an area has been rented specifically for that purpose (e.g., the gym or hall). 
-Skate sharpening will be provided based on staff availability
